Millburn Township is closing four municipal parking lots and Millburn Avenue to all vehicles from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday for the 46th annual President's Cup 5K. Lots 5, 6, 12 and 19 will be off-limits, and cars left behind risk a ticket or a tow. Permit holders can use any other municipal lot during the closure.

The race was originally set for June but got pushed to July 13 due to weather.

The 5K kicks off at 7 p.m. at Essex and Main streets, looping twice through downtown. Packet pickup and race-day registration start at 5 p.m. at Lot 19, 161 Spring Street. RWJBarnabas Health and Paper Mill Playhouse are presenting sponsors, and a music-filled after-party follows on Main Street.

The first 1,000 registrants get a tech shirt and medal, and everyone registered gets two beers and pizza afterward. Top USATF-NJ finishers earn $25 to $150. Anyone who can't make the new date had until midnight Sunday to defer to 2027.
