Livingston residents looking to sharpen their defenses against online scams and cyber threats can attend a free presentation at the Livingston Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 24.
The program, titled "Navigate the Online World Safely in Today's Digital World," will be led by Promo Ambitions, a North Jersey digital marketing and AI consulting firm founded by Eddi Khaytman, according to the West Essex Tribune. The event is free.
Khaytman has delivered more than 250 presentations on artificial intelligence to school districts, corporations, libraries and TEDx audiences, according to the firm's website. The presentation aims to give attendees the knowledge to browse the web safely and securely.
Danielle Cesena, head of technology and community engagement at the library, oversees the library's technology programming.
The Livingston Public Library is located at 10 Robert Harp Dr. Residents can call (973) 992-4600 for more information. Library hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
