The Fourth of July celebration isn’t over yet for Livingston residents — the township is bringing back its fireworks show Wednesday night after storms forced a last-minute cancellation over the holiday weekend.
The rescheduled fireworks will light up the sky following a free concert that launches Livingston’s 2026 Summer Concert Series at the Gazebo on the Oval.
Yacht rock cover band Suit & Mai Tai takes the stage at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, with fireworks scheduled immediately after the performance. The event is part of the township’s America’s 250th Birthday celebration.
The original July 4 celebration was cut short at 6:30 p.m. after thunderstorms moved through the area, canceling both the fireworks and the scheduled performance by New Power Soul.
