Drivers and residents on 11 Millburn streets will face detours and driveway restrictions starting Wednesday, July 22, when contractor JA Alexander begins milling and paving as part of the township's 2025 Phase 2 Road Paving Project.
The work runs 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is scheduled to finish by Wednesday, August 5, weather permitting, according to a notice posted on the Millburn Township website.
Residents on affected streets must move vehicles out of their driveways by 7 a.m. each workday. Cars can be parked on side streets during construction hours.
Parking will be especially tight near South Terrace, between Hobart Road and the Route 124 service road, and around Tulip Lane, the township warned.

What drivers should know
The township is asking all drivers to follow posted detours and road signs in affected areas. Expect lane closures and equipment on the roadway during work hours.
The work is part of the township's 2025 road improvement program. The Township Committee adopted a $1 million bond ordinance for road improvements on Monday, May 19.
