The Tory Burch Boutique at the Mall at Short Hills will open its doors for a free public fireside chat on women's leadership and civic engagement Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., according to a press release published on TAPinto.

CC Minton, a civic leader whose work spans nonprofit partnerships and municipal collaborations, will headline the conversation alongside Sara Thom, Sustainer Council chair for the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills for 2026–2027. The two will discuss community service, collaborative leadership, and the League's programs serving Essex County families.

Admission is free.

The event is a partnership between the Tory Burch store and JLOSH, a women-led volunteer organization founded in 1913 that focuses on addressing basic needs of low-income children in pre-K through eighth grade. Since 1989, the League has awarded community grants totaling more than $490,000 to local organizations, according to its website.

Beyond the conversation, the evening will include a preview of the latest Tory Burch collection and chances for attendees to support JLOSH initiatives directly.

"These are the kinds of connections that strengthen Millburn and create new pathways for collaboration," Gregory Burrus of Gregory Burrus Productions said in the press release spotlighting the event. Burrus, who produces the Jesus & Jazz worship-arts series at Mt. Zion AME Church in Millburn, called Minton a regular presence at those gatherings.
