Livingston families can pick up a free Halloween costume for their kids at a costume swap on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, first reported by Patch.

The swap runs from noon to 3 p.m. in the Tahaney 1 room at 204 Hillside Ave. There is no cost to attend. Organizers say the event aims to keep costumes out of landfills.

Drop-offs of clean, gently used costumes are accepted through Friday, Oct. 2, at the center's lower level, room 115, Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For questions, contact the Livingston Senior/Community Center at (973) 535-7925 or [email protected].
