Livingston's 16th Annual Haunted Walk returns to the Senior/Community Center on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026 and Saturday, Oct. 31, with three age-tiered time slots.

The haunted trail at 204 Hillside Ave. runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m. both nights, according to Livingston Township's event listing. The event is open to the public. The township's Recreation & Senior Services Department organizes the walk.

Admission is $5 per person, cash only, Patch reported.

The earliest slot, 5 to 5:45 p.m., is reserved for families with special needs individuals. The 5:45 to 7 p.m. window is geared toward children ages 7 and up. The final stretch, 7 to 8:30 p.m., is not recommended for children 10 and under.

All children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent at all times.

The township recommends sneakers and says every attendee should bring a flashlight. No advance registration is required.

Volunteers in seventh grade and up who want community service hours can help staff the trail. They must have a scary costume, attend a walk-through and training, and work both nights. Interested students should contact Joe Gill at [email protected].

For questions, residents can call 973-535-7925 (option 0) Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or email [email protected].
